Third Tuesday One-on-One Online Help Sessions

Come with a cup of coffee or tea in the comfort of your own home via Zoom.

You can spend up to an hour with one of our experienced volunteers. Together you can explore new resources, or try a new way of finding the information you are looking for. You’ll be able to see your Genealogy Helper’s computer screen as you work. If you haven’t “shared screens” before, it’s so helpful and easy to do. Your volunteer will walk you through it.

1. Do you want to learn more about finding information on FamilySearch?

2. Or perhaps you had your DNA tested and would like help understanding what it all means and how to use the results?

3. Or maybe you’re an experienced researcher and would like an hour to chat with another experienced researcher exploring your brick wall?

It’s all possible when your Genealogy Helper’s computer screen shows up on your computer screen and takes you through the steps.

For help, email the following information to Lynda Katonak (click on email address on the right under ORGANIZER):

1. Your preferred date and time (10 am, 11 am, or 12 o’clock noon); and

2. A few sentences about your research issue.

Lynda will email you back to confirm a time and send you a Zoom link.

We hope you’ll give it a try!
