Military Research Special Interest Group (SIG): WW2 USAAF Accidents in New Mexico

This months program is a look at the US Army Air Force’s aircraft accidents in New Mexico. A lot of young men died training to going overseas during World War 2.

The Military Research SIG is a group interested in researching our ancestor’s military service regardless of their country of origin. Our ancestors who have served provide a rich family history and their stories should be told to preserve their memories. Monthly military programs are presented to inform the members and public.

As long as there is sufficient interest, this group plans to meet the 1st Tuesday of every month, February through November.

The group is open to anyone who is interested in military research.

This event is currently scheduled as a HYBRID EVENT. Come join us in person at the Albuquerque Main Library, Genealogy Center on the 2nd floor (see LOCATION information on the right), or online (see link below to register).

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
