Stories of Early Albuquerque

review by AGS member Mike Wilson

Some of you might not know that AGS member and former Quarterly editor Rosemary McNerney Winkler compiled the stories she wrote and commissioned about early Albuquerque families into a book that is now available.

You might like to have a copy, or it could be a perfect present for someone you know!

Included in the book

The book contains 33 stories of Albuquerque families, including names you know like Huning, Franchini, Maisel, Girard, and Bellamah.

There was a nice story about it in the Albuquerque Journal back on May 23, when the book first came out.

Where to buy?

The book is available at local bookstores Page 1 Books, Treasure House Books in Old Town, Organic Books in Nob Hill, and the Albuquerque Museum gift shop.  It sells for $19.95.
