AGS Monthly Meeting and Program: Your Personal Tour: Creating a Locality Guide
Join us for a short business meeting, followed by a presentation by Lisa Medina
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Research in a new place often requires compiling a
whole new list of repositories and sources to consult – and research in the same place over and over is best served when you have an organized list of where to look. In this session, we look at information to compile in a locality guide and approaches to formatting and organization.
Speaker Bio: Lisa Medina is a professional genealogist and experienced lecturer, applying her background in teaching to all of her presentations. She is an alum of several genealogical institutes and education programs (ProGen, SLIG, Gen-Fed) and her research expertise is in Mexican genealogy. When not researching, Lisa is the Director of Admissions and University Registrar at a California State University.
This event is currently scheduled as a HYBRID EVENT. Come join us in person at the Albuquerque Main Library, Genealogy Center on the 2nd floor (see LOCATION information on the right), or online (see link below to register).
