Presenter: Philp Spivey – Philip Spivey is a professional genetic genealogist. He is Past President of the Albuquerque Genealogical Society, a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society. His educational credentials include an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird and a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University, as well as several certificates from the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. He speaks extensively on genealogical research and DNA analysis and is the founder of the Facebook group “Talk Genealogy & DNA.”
Description: If you are new to using DNA in your family history research, the process can seem a bit overwhelming. This presentation is designed to take you from scratch. Learn why it can be a useful tool, how to start out on the right foot and get the most out of your efforts. Even if you have already started, but don’t have a clear strategy, this talk can help you reboot your efforts.
